Over a Decade of Experience
My freelance career started in the summer of 2005, shortly after returning to my hometown of New York City. Since that time, my work has appeared in American Baby, Body+Soul, Pregnancy, KIWI, BobVila.com, EverydayHealth.com, BabyZone.com, Natural Food Network Magazine, BJ's Journal, Your Retirement Advisor and Wines and Vines magazine.

For eight years I worked for The Monroe Evening News, a daily newspaper in suburban Detroit. I served as editor of both the health and Sunday living sections. I also wrote features for the daily paper, including several award-winning narrative and investigative pieces.

My bachelor's degree in journalism comes from the Boston University College of Communication. Having a newspaper background makes me uniquely qualified to write everything from tight, short briefs to long-form narrative. Meeting deadlines, exceeding editor's expectations and producing quality journalism are my passions.
